Hi Dreamcastic Community,

Long time follower, first time posting. I've been doing something I've wanted to do for a very long time and started playing through my Dreamcast library chronologically back in September. I've had a DreamPi for a while but have yet to actually connect and play some online matches.
I'm embarrassed to say I noticed I just missed a recent Chu Chu Rocket game night but I'm looking to give the first online Dreamcast game a go and capture a little piece of that experience I never got to have way back when I had the system as a kid but never got to hook it up to the internet. If anybody's down to play some Chu Chu Rocket I'll be trying to get it all set up this week and connected by this Saturday 4/22, say around 7-8pm EST?

Stage Challenge is very fun. Each stage in this mode has a predetermined job that must be completed within thirty seconds. There are no unique Chu Chus, and a second player is also capable of aiding. Stages A and B's goals are to load every Chu-Chu into the rocket, Stage C's goal is to have the KapuKapu consume every Chu-Chu, Stage D's goal is to load 100 Chu-Chus into the rocket, and Stage E's goal is to play Cat Football, which involves striking the opposing team's rocket with a KapuKapu to win. The goal of the final level, which is played out like Battle Mode, is to guide 100 Chu Chus to a rocket before the CPU does. How about you?

You came to the right place to find people for organized game nights. I think if you want pick-up games, you may have better chances with Discord. Unfortunately the scene is splintered, so you may want to try a few locations. I wish some these groups would consolidate their online play sections so they can focus on their specialized community.
