Can't access the XDP web browser but can acess the planet web browser

So I just downloaded and burned the XDP browser so I can set up the broadband adapter but whenever I try to launch the Original User agent it just hangs after a few seconds, but when I go to Custom Planetweb 2.6.x it loads just fine. Would I be able to set it up using the Custom planetweb or do I need to use the XDP browser to set it up. I made sure I downloaded the latest one on the website.
