Hello all I have a dc that does not work with vga out due to a fuse issue. Is there a way to connect it to HDMI as I have not the skill to fix that. I know of those composite to hdmi boxes is there a good one that does not darken and destroy the picture for a reasonable price?

Honestly, if you find a dreamcast on ebay with a broken gdrom/yellowed shell for cheap just swap the mobo. I picked up a yellowed console fully functional for $20 at a flea market just a couple of weeks ago. New shell and some cleaning and its good as new. Good luck!

The truth is that you can just switch the motherboard for a cheap dreamcast on eBay that has a damaged gdrom or bleached shell. Very recently, I spent twenty dollars at a flea market for a perfectly operational console that had yellowed.
