SHENMUE 2 NPC's

Ive never seen a pack of the shenmue 2 npc models in full 3d so here is one.
3D Format: obj/png

NOTE:
Normals can be flipped in some models, easy to solve in any 3d editing software you could use, to display correctly in noesis viewer just click the backfaceculling option.

Texture mirroring on wheels is something you will have to fix manually, DC hardware does this automatically.

Few models will present bad uv mapping, this is correct, this models were not finished but remain in game files.

NOTE:
Same warnings as whit NPC's pack +
Enviromental/bump mapping cant be applied directly by noesis viewer, you will have to add this textures manually in your 3d editor or...

GET VincentNL lastest release in naomilib blender addon (13.4) so it applies automatcally on load!
(Only compatible whit blender 4 atm)

I am LemonHaze, co-author of ShenmueDKSharp and Wudecon.

These model packs were created using ShenmueDKSharp/Wudecon, as can be seen by opening the .OBJ files with Notepad:

Could the models be imported into DOA2 to make a Shenmue themed version? Seemed like there were some breakthroughs in modding that game in recent years.

Might wanna take another look, as I've stumbled across a few roadblocks whilst trying to organize the characters

HV6_L - Incorrect Shoes
KUG_L - Has KN3_L's Shirt.
SD3_L - Has incorrect textures for arms (Uses Leg Textures of the Dragon St. characters).

I don't know, maybe could be possible, but that would have to be checked up in one of the Doa2 threads :) Esppiral could know better on that area since he had imported stuff into doa2 game.

I have a distant memory about sm2 models having some bugged models whit incorrect uvs and also some models have the same name but are diferent models, (like 3 or 4) models. This would require a deep check up disc by disc, you can use the model extractor in my post of "HUMANS play as any npc" to extract the models from each HUMANS.afs.
