Maximum Pool PC version online help

Does the online still works? If so how do I make it work? I can't see anything when I click online even after I press F5. Not sure what version I need either. I do have the original CD and it is the 0.5 something version.

I don't think that works as far as I remember. Unless I need to do something extra other than using the patch..

I was able to play Windows 98 vs Dreamcast online by changing the DNS on my PC to the IP of the server mentioned in the below link. I didn't patch the game.

I'm not sure if there's a more elegant solution that works, but changing the DNS worked for me.
