noob saying hello

Hi everyone. noob to Dreamcast-talk, but not to the Dreamcast.
Wanted to foremost thank the creators, moderators and members of this forum for helping to keep the Dreamcast alive.
I got my hands on a Dreamcast circa 2000 -along with Shenmue, and been a fan since; its prowess as an emulation station is to this day -to me anyway- spectacular.
Growing up, I was always the "Sega guy", being the only kid on the block with an SMS (initially because my poor folks couldn't find an NES) but quickly came to love that console as well as Sega.
I was fortunate enough to go along for the ride during the golden age of emulation on the Dreamcast in the mid-2000s - sadly, all of those Dreamcast emulation-focused sites seem to have shut down -discovering the Dreamcast-talk community was a nice surprise.
Again, my thanks to all you Dreamcast fans.
