Hello! I'm new to the Dreamcast, having bought it not too long ago.
I'm curious about JRPGs, and thought if anyone here could recommend me any good game, even if it doesn't have translation to English.
Thanks!

Grandia II, Skies of Arcadia are the best traditional jrpgs on the system. Evolution 1 and 2 were fun also.

That's a shame, I felt like it had more than it has. But I'll still try the ones that are available.

Re: Recommended JRPGs
Time Stalkers is another interesting jrpg.
If you're looking for action rpgs there are a few to consider...
Elemental Gimmick Gear (EGG) is more platform rpg kinda like zelda but has long cutscenes.
If you're looking for something like diablo then try Record of Lodoss War.
Silver is a decent fmv background era rpg.
And last is Rent a Hero No. 1. There is an english translation.

Re: Recommended JRPGs
I just finished Elemental Gimmick Gear and I think that one meets the definition of hidden gem. It's a good Zelda-inspired game that has beautiful hand drawn backgrounds in the style of the artist Mobius.
My only complaint is that some of the actions are a little clunky, but it's worth it if you can look past that. The story is interesting and the game doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Re: Recommended JRPGs
Out of the 3 JRPGs I've played on Dreamcast...
Grandia 2: Really liked it, a must play for any JRPG fan
Evolution: Not mind blowing, but decently fun. Never tried the sequel though
Skies of Arcadia: Honestly I never got into it, the characters and setting were interesting, but battles were a little too slow for my liking

Re: Recommended JRPGs
Time Stalkers for oddity reasons. Though not traditional maybe give Record of Lodoss War a shot too.
