Broadband Adapter

I did a quick search and got no hits on this topic, but does dropping the money on a broadband adapter have any real worth outside of online play? I know with other consoles you can FTP into them, and do some other neat things using your network.

. We're slowly trying to add more value for BBA adapters over on the dreampipe side of things.
Also good for ripping discs I believe.

We use it for development and sending code fast to the Dreamcast that's my main use of it.

bba is great for quake 3 and almost required for driving strikers.
