Hello All, ive been away from the forums for a long time. I recently acquired a microphone adapter and had always assumed the mic was hardwired in. Seeing a standard 3.5mm adapter has me thinking of other ways this could be used, I was curious if any one has any examples where the connector has been used to put audio OUT rather than IN? Could be fun with OTOIRE Sequencer Music Maker

That's an idea. Why don't you try it and report if it works?

Unfortunately not- the Maple protocol for the device is microphone (audio from device to host, called “Sound Input Peripheral”) only, and I assume the hardware only implements microphone support as well. I don’t think there was a portion of the Maple protocol’s “Function Type” spec reserved for audio output, aside from the VMU beeps.
