Shuouma has worked his magic yet again and has brought back Golf Shiyouyo 2 back online! As with Sega Tetris, I've done the work of translating this one as well, so navigating the online menus should be a breeze for non-Japanese speakers. I've also done a tiny bit of translating with the offline Tournament mode as well. A massive thanks to Shu for adding another online game to the roster! I'm personally really excited for this one! Funny enough, I was considering doing a full English translation patch for this game at some point, so it's great to know that online play has been restored.

Feel free. Thought of possibly attempting a full translation myself at some point but there are things that are beyond me. Even some of the online stuff, like the "Ready" button that you hit when you're ready to start match, I wasn't able to figure out. I'm sure it's probably a texture file somewhere but I couldn't find it anywhere. There is a lot of plain text though so difficulty-wise, it shouldn't be too hard. Just a bit of time considering there's quite a bit of character dialog.

Yes, I looked at this game and it definitely requires some effort and know-how, especially for a nice narrow font.

Anyway, stay tuned, maybe I'll get around to it sooner rather than later

Just got done playing two games with Holsten. I like how the game gives you the option of playing only a 3 hole match for a super quick game!

It took a few holes for us to get the hang of the game, but we're doing better now. I could see this game taking a while to master.

I'll be online occasionally throughout this weekend if anyone else wants to coordinate a game.
