DREAMCASTNOW USERNAME AND GRAVATAR ACCOUNT

Hi everyone, i'm a dreampi user since the early days.
I would like to ask someone more expert than me something about dreamcastnow.
I used to have a very early pi 1B to go online (connected to a gravatar account) which recently died (well...after a long troubleshouting looks like the ethernet and USB ports are faulty.
Now i got a pi 4B on which i set up a new gravatar account....
could i use the former gravatar account to recover all of my stats?
could i just use the former gravatar account without recovering my stats?
additionally, The PI4 has been set to wifi..from what i understood the USERNAME is tied to the mac address of the connection so if i use the ethernet cable i need to use another username. is this right? can i at least use the same gravatar account?
