Kyskrew, also known as "Call of Destiny," was an ambitious role-playing game (RPG) developed for the Sega Dreamcast and PC by a small French indie team called Dragonhydre (later renamed Crystal Dream). The team consisted of 12 young developers, aged between 16 and 23, who connected through French gaming forums with the shared goal of creating their own game.

The game's storyline centered around a conflict between the Goddess of Love and Creation, Eloina, and her adversary, the God of Hate, Gainer. After Gainer's defeat, a fragment of his corrupted soul escapes and reincarnates in a human, threatening to bring destruction to the world.
Kyskrew aimed to offer a mix of real-time combat for regular enemies and turn-based battles for bosses. Players could choose from various character classes, including knights, magicians, and thieves. The game featured a dynamic day-night cycle and was set across five continents, promising over 40 hours of gameplay.

Despite its promising concept, Kyskrew faced numerous development challenges. The team encountered internal issues, frequent member changes, and missed deadlines. As the Dreamcast's popularity waned, the developers attempted to shift the project to PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance, but these plans were short-lived. Ultimately, the project was canceled in mid-2002, and the team disbanded.

Although Kyskrew never saw an official release, its legacy persists through preserved concept art and early development materials, offering a glimpse into this forgotten piece of gaming history.
