Dreamcast Overclocking: Shorten life?

As the title says, will overclocking the dreamcast shorten it's life?

Huh there was a topic made a month ago or so about it but cant find it.
Anyways, this is not dreamcast specific but: besides the speed increase, what you get from overclocking is extra heat. Heat kills all electronic devices.
At least on pc, because overclocking is a so common thing on that area, trademarks makes and sells more powerful cooling devices, such as huge (but noisy)fans or even watercooling kits.
It has been proven that even providing the extra cooling in order to maintain the temperature its supposed to run at, you are shortening the device life. Simply because the component, cpu in this case, wasnt meant to be ran at that speed.. Depending on its quality, its gonna die early or not.
In the case of the dreamcast, its worse since (as far as i know...) they are no extra cooling devices ready for the occasion, except if you make one yourself..?
