Hello, the two pads fixed with adhesive in the Dreamcast disc tray I have are 90% gone, and the adhesive is hardened. I can't find anything online about replacement or even what the part/material is called. I am worried that if it makes contact with a disc it will gouge it. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there some kind of replacement without having to buy an entire new shell?

You could probably use an adhesive-backed felt sheet like this and cut it into shape:

Thank you. I honestly don't know how this happened, or if they were even necessary. I just didn't want to take the chance and ruin a disk lol.
