So I guess you guys have heard that Project Needlemouse has been announced to be Sonic the Hedgehog 4 to be available for download on XBLA, PSN, and WiiWare. It's Supposed to be 2-D just like the Genesis/Mega Drive games. I'm really looking forward to it. What are your thoughts guys?

I am also, i hope i can get it for the pc in the future.

Remember that just like sonic 3 is the 1st part of a bigger adventure (sonic&knuckles), this episode 1 is also the 1st part of a bigger adventure/story.

I'm pleased that they finally made another 2D Sonic that takes it back to it's original gameplay but I also feel somewhat uneasy about Sega's motives for doing it. They may have not done this because the fans were requesting it for years. I fear they may have started development of this because Nintendo beat them to the punch and came out with "New" Super Mario bros. for Wii. So of couse Sega feeling left behind had to do one with Sonic. Problem is that even though Mario has come out with some really dumb and uninteresting games in the past decade, nothing is as bad as what Sega did to sonic.

In all honesty our little blue friend has been dragged through the dirt on too many occasions but there is always hope that this episode may clear the air a little and restore some pride to sonic's worn out mascot.

I bet its gonna suck. megadrive's sonic games ftw.

I just hope it comes to PC so I can find out.

From what I've seen from leaked videos and heard from sources, It's like Sonic Advance 2 all over again. Not that that is terrible, but I don't like that idea.

I'll probably get it for Xbox Live when it comes out.
