I just got an official Sega Dreamcast fishing controller and a Yobo Gameware DC light gun. This will be my first time using this type of controllers.

Questions:
1. What is a good game for both of these controllers?
2. I understand the Yobo light gun is compatible with most games, but is it "Silent Scope" friendly?
3. Does it matter about Japanese versus PAL or NTSC/U games as far as what works and what does not regarding the Yobo light gun?
4. Can the fishing controller be used in other games like Virtua Tennis?
5. Can anyone tell me about the Yobo Gun?

1) Sega BASS Fishing and the house of the dead 2
2) Silent Scope is not compatible with any lightgun.
3) Don't know about the yobo gun, but the official lightgun that came with the THOD2 japanese gunset doesn't work unless it's connected into port B. Weird, huh?
4) Yes, it can be used in many games, included soul calibur. On a side note, you can use maracas to play baseball games (IN YOUR FACE, WII)
5) Not me

1) cOcOoO recommended 2 good games, but to be honest any of the light gun and fishing rod games are good. i have them all except real fishing wild, i did burn it once but i think i gave that copy away and never tested it with the rod. it was probably the worst fishing game out of all of them. i had problems casting the rod in the 2nd bass game. i think this could be my rod? i have to swing the rod like im superman just to get the line to go about 10 feet? the 1st game i can use a button to cast. using a button to cast instead of swinging the shit out of the rod is way easier, sure its less realistic but, its easier! sega marine fishing is probably my favorite one to use the rod on.

2) there is a gun that works with silent scope but its not what they make it out to be. you use the D pad on the gun just like the joy stick on the DC pad. so its not like playing with a light gun. more like playing with a gun shaped joy pad.

3) as far as what games for what guns, the official gun wont work on some games. as far as i know all 3rd party guns will work with all the games.

4) cOcOoO is right about soul calibur and Virtua Tennis. but the fishing rod only works with Virtua Tennis 1, it will not work with the 2nd game for some reason?

5) i never used the yobo gun but, a game shop near me seems to love yobo products. i got a yobo gamecube controller from them and it stopped working in a few months, so i don't trust them to much.

Sega Marine Fishing is a great game for the fishing rod.

Confidential Mission is pretty fun.
