Ive got a 360 for a year with no problems so far.. And a ps3 for 6 months and the drive was faulty, and died on the 3rd day..

A good tip for your consoles not to overheat and get YLOD/RROD is to not play in your oven

I hate those two consoles more than anything. My cousin went through 3 different 360's in one year.

Yeah, they're not worth your time. Nobody should have to deal with that crap. You should just be able to sit down and enjoy your playing time.

Thats something 360 and ps3 both have in common: their first builds are terrible. You just gotta be patient and wait for a decent unit to release.. Im telling you, my 360 is year old, im using a DAMN LOT and its still running as smooth as the first day..

Your kind of talk is really typical from frustrated guys that got one of the early models. I dont blame you: i would react the same way if that happened to me. But you gotta stay objective..

They dont suck, you just got two pieces of crap, and if that wasnt enough, youre not interested in the stuff they good at: exclusives fps. The question to ask is why the fuck did you get them in the first place?

I had a X360 when they first came out and it fucked up two games and got the RROD in 6 months or less. I sent it to M$ to fix and when I got it back I sold it.

And i tought the dreamcast had problems. seems the new generation consoles have problems way to often.

Some ppl simply apply a fan mod to the 360 to prevent it from overheating, however i don't like things to work this way.
When you buy a new computer, it is made to work 24 hours a day non stop, obviously if you overclock them you might be worried with overheating, but these new consoles overheat very fast while they operate normally (aka playing).
