i know that dreamcast used to hook up to the internet via dial up, i have been looking into it recently and the only way to hook dreamcast up via broad band is to buy a ludicrously expensive adapter or to mess around with your modem (router).

could anyone link me to a tutorial or a video on youtube or offer any advice on this subject

thanks alot

1. If you still have dial-up at home (not a VoIP account), you can use the Dreamcast to play PSOv1 PAL & NTSC/U, Q3, Starlanser, 4x4 Evo, Max Pool & any Dreamcast browser disc.

2. If you have a BBA, you're good to go with PSOv2 (with DC-Talk IP fix ISO), Q3 and either XDP or PW3.0 browser discs.

3. PC-DC server setup.

4. IOLAN UDP Dial-up to Ethernet adapter. Dobbs gets his sometime in June for DC-Talk testing.

Radkin, did Dobbs ever get his Ethernet Adapter? I am VERY interested in seeing how this works. :P

I can get online with Vonage (which is voip) and using the free ISP metconnect.

I apologize for keeping you waiting. Dobbs and I have been very busy lately. We have not had a chance to discuss it yet. We had a roof problem and were busy trying to get that all fixed up before it rained it again. I will talk to tonight if possible. If not tonight, tomorrow for sure!

Take your time ;) I am just very interested in what exactly this is. I typed in the ION DIAL Up-Ethernet Converter and nothing came up.
