I am thinking of taking my Dreamcast apart and giving it a good dusting so it doesn't short out prematurely. Is this a good idea? or should I just shoot canned air through the fan vent. What do you guys thing I've had it since 99' and I can only imagine what it looks like under the case.
Thanks

If it isn't broke, don't fix it...

actually, they don't seem to get all that dirty inside, I've had mine since day one & took it apart for the first time last spring to do some repairs & was amazed how clean it was inside

Ok good, I will forget about it then. I would have probably dropped it or something anyway. Dam electronics.

It is a bit tricky taking the DC apart. You're probably better off not doing it. Unless you have your Dreamcast in a really dusty environment.
I do not recommend spraying air duster into the fan. It may damage the fan motor and will just blow dust around the inside of the case and may cause something bad to happen.
