Firstly I thought i'd say hello as im new to the site, I'm an avid dreamcast player and collector (currently going for a full PAL collection, of which I have 109 at the moment) along with lots of other memorabilia

Anyways going back to the title, I just managed to bag myself a mint complete copy of TAXI 2 Le Jeu for £25 on ebay (yes I know its an appalling game lol, but it's one of the rarest PAL games going)

Anyone else had any awesome bargains?

Ive seen a review of that game and it looks awfully bad.. Maybe thats the reason its so rare?

lol, its does look pretty damn bad, but it was needed for my collection, I presume its rare because it was only released in France, and im pretty sure it was one of the last games released before the sad demise of the console

reason its rare is coz indeed the game was only released in france; its only rare to find, you'll (almost) never pay big bucks for it. Unlike say pal Evolution 2; this one isn't hard to find at all (almost always one or 2 on ebay), but at horrible prices (I've once see a guy ask as much as £500 for a used copy of the game)

The only pal versions of TAXI2 ive seen have gone for £75 and £80 on the uk ebay, I decided to have a look on the french ebay, and some guy was selling a dreamcast with controller and steering wheel, I asked him if he would sell separatly and told me I could have the game for £25 shipped, Evolution 2 and REZ are next on my list

I believe I bought mine (taxi2) for about 20£ or so last year.

you should also hunt for Moho, its another pal exclusive & its prices are going up (if you can find it that is)

Funny you should say about moho, I actually bought it bundled with 9 other games and a pretty yellowed dreamcast for £10 lol, I haven't seen that many copies of it

Well I can't actually believe I just won another copy of TAXI2 for £8.51 complete in mint condition, the bloke had it end at a really bad time..... now Onwards to evolution 2 and rez
