Sorry, REM refused the first time they were elected because they were not happy the Monkees were not accepted. The guy from Rolling Stone mag is angry at them and has banned them for personal reasons. The Monkees sold over 65 million records, a huge feat being record sales in the 1960's had a vastly smaller buying market due to local radio market, religious and social reasons (television as a whole did not support anything but country back then). Today, a wider audience buys a wider range of music.

My sister and I used to watch their show everyday. Also I still hear their songs on the radio all the time so I will gladly sign it.

Oh yeah! Wasn't it for Marsha's b-day or some dance she was putting together or something??

I still wish their shows were aired, some pretty funny stuff.
