Finally have one that works - done a trade with the guy from youtube and after a close inspection of his i think i know what i did wrong with mine

more to come soon ;)

I've re-cased it and cleaned it all up-when i got it, it was covered in superglue and burn marks and was abit of mess - i also added the surround part of the 2nd analog stick & the thumb part.

looks pretty good now :D

Sure, Quake 3 arena is prefect for this, as you can reconfigure all controlls to your preference. Simply make your strafing movements your D-pad, and the face keys your action buttons or change weapons ect.

Oh so theres no way to use both sticks at the same time with two different functions? Id rather get rid of the dpad and use both sticks if you ask me..

lol of course theres a way to use both sticks - thats the whole reason this was made! you look around with the new analog stick and move forward and sideways with old analog!

i know it looks uncomfortable but it is actually ok - so much easier to play quake, half life, etc

--oh and yeah i saw what they said on Racketboy - to be honest the guys on that forum are mostly dicks! you post up a mod in the 'hacks & mod' section and all you get is someone moan about it. i used to go on there loads but stay clear of it now

Yes thats exactly what i want. But does for instance Half Life and Quake configs recognizes them as different?

The real question is: how is this done? According to the games, is that stick a new stick, like a random key on a keyboard for each position, or does it replace the left stick?
