I think I will try to make a PC DC Server with windows XP. I do have a copy of windows 98 first edition though. So if that fails I will try that. I dont have a serial input on my computer. I was wondering what modems you guys use for either windows 98 or windows xp. I am thinking about getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Data-Mod ... 027&sr=8-1

Does it require a line voltage inducer? Thanks!

I think it is a good idea of using the PC DC Server with windows XP. I think this modem results in a better way.
