ok after speeking to one of them they actually know what we are talking about and know what we need to do.

This is the Direct EMAIL respounce

Hi Michael

This is sunny once again from Perle Systems, I believe that I sent you the wrong link to one of our products, I will re send the correct link.

on another note I was looking on the internet and I saw a forum that you may have a link to:

http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtop ... 3&start=10

if this is where you are getting your information there is on key piece missing on the diagram. you will need a phone simulator between the dream cast modem and the external modem. eg.

This would be a solution ... as a standard Modem cannot directly connect to another Modem ...

I am assuming that the Sega modem port is using the PPP protocol ...

Sega internal modem --- phone line --- Phone Line Simulator --- phone line --- external Modem --- RS-232 cable --- Iolan SDS1 --- Ethernet --- Broadband Router --- Internet

A company called Viking Electronics makes Phone Line Simulators.

Link to the correct iolan that you will need. http://perle.pricegrabber.com/search_ge ... m=04030144

you will need to use the SDS1 because it supports ppp protocol.

Regards,

Sunny Sandhur

:o then what would be the best choice and why can you only play those 2 games it doesent make sense. But if you look at it though the dreamcast would probalby have better speeds if its the bba not a pc-dc server
