Does anyone know of a way to make a pc-dc connection that isn't as confusing as all hell? I found a tutorial a while ago and it told me to mess with my registry files. And then it said the chance of the thing working is completely dependent on your modem and there was a good chance that it wouldn't work because of that.

I am trying to find a voice modem. All of the modems I have a fax modems. There is a difference, the voice modems will deal with blind dialing and the Dreamcast communications it sends to the modem that the fax modem (dummy modem) will not do.

What? It says on the bottom: ren: 0.7B, and in the corner it says 670-14082A. Hopefully one of these tells you.

Windows XP= NOOOOOOOO!

If you want it to be easy you have to use windows 98 and me.

Linux is also easier than XP and proven to work but there is a lot of command line shit you might not like.

You have a revision A modem your good. No need for line voltage inducer.
