DC VS link cable online

Is there any way to tunnel the VS link-capable games online in the same way xbox, 360, psp, etc can be over wifi/ethernet through some software running on a PC in your LAN. Granted the cable obviously is not ethernet I'm just curious if it were possible.

possible? i guess with tons of hardware and software anything is possible. not sure that helped.

You could probably splice it into an Ethernet cable but I don't know what you would do from there. It probably isnt using standard TCP/IP so you would need some new software. Plus the link cables are a bitch to find.
