Is there anyway to fix a corrupted Phantasy Star character?

My character is corrupted, when I try to load it says A Button:Reload

The file is also only 15 blocks, is there anyway to fix it?

EDIT: I found out it can't be fixed, so I am starting a new character.

I was only a level 17 with a level 24 mag.

If you need help restoring the items, simply send me a list of the ones you had and i'll make them quickly

Or, i could do a lvl 17 char like yours, create the items and then save it on the server.
You would also enter the server and restor, you would receive the new stuff (hopefully also the level) and then you would save.

once you restor, you quit the game and save, don't go into games otherwise the effect is lost.

I just started over, Mike helped me get to level 10 already.

I actually like my new character better, being able to use all of the guns makes it so much easier to kill and not get hit.

Kireek, the server save and restor function does not work on this server. You would have to get the shithack disk and do it. That's what I had to do.

If you have more than one memory card, make a backup! Once your character gains a few levels, you finish a slew of quests offline, or you obtain a hard to find item (or multiple items with great %'s), make it second nature to backup the character!

Kireek here actually has a great video on youtube showing how to do this.

In order to make a back up you can either do Kireek's trick, or use the Dream Explorer disc made by Blue Swirl. I think the Dream Explorer is better in the sense that if you FSOD, all you need to do is copy the PSO_SYS file from your back up to your original so you have all your items back and haven't lost your experience points.

Eh? I just tested out /save and /restore on my test server and they worked fine. I don't think I've ever had trouble with them on DCv1, but I have randomly had troubles with them on PC at times (I don't know if I ever really tested it with DCv2)...

That said, some sections of the server that this deals with could use a bit (or a lot) of work... The shipgate itself was a hack built on top of a hack. Some of the most annoying/nasty code I have in the whole server, and something that desperately needs some fixing. Perhaps that should be my project now, especially if the FSOD bugs are gone (I haven't heard anything about them since the update to r186... so I'm hoping).
