Wow so its only compatible with 3 games? That is pretty lame to me. At least there is one fighting game I can use I guess. I guess its not really worth it.

I base it on the box, there might be more.

the box is wrong! the only game listed on the box that will work is F355 Challenge. also there was an official cable that was released in Japan only.

there are others though. such as VOOT (Virtual On Oratorio Tangram) Aero Dancing i, Aero Dancing F and Sega Tetris. the last 3 games are Japanese imports. i'm not sure if i forgot any? so you pretty much only have 5 that work with it.

I've been looking for a cable for ageS. ( :lol: )

One of my in-home projects is a double dreamcast setup with back-to-back flat screen computer monitors, the entire setup designed to play voot.

I already have an old tower large enough to house both units, vga boxes, and hold up both monitors, and have some room to spare. Its sorta bulky and I'm looking for a better housing. I'd like to make a custom shell for everything that includes the monitors as well.

I'm leaving controller ports instead of hardwiring twinsticks. But I might make it 1 controller port for dc, and 1 controller port for saturn, on each side (for use with saturn twinsticks).

But... I can't find the cable, so I'm not really working too hard on this.

yeah Macabre they are hard to find. i had an eye out for one too. i pretty much gave up though. i don't really trust the dragoncast brand as they fail way to often. the official one will cost a lot and it has such few uses, so i i'm not going to shell out to much for it. that is if i ever find one.

What I really wish is that someone would just post the schematics of the damn thing. It can't be that hard to make a cable. :lol:

I was considering taking two neo-geo pocket cables and seeing if i could somehow merge them to work as the "vs link" cable, but honestly, I don't know what sort of mechanics are behind this. All I know is it works threw the serial port.

I also need to eventually find someone good at programming and try to talk them into helping me make two self-booting voot disc's that go strait to the system-link menu, as it would make my dream-setup here much more effective and awesome.

edit;

thats sorta of the setup I want, but it will all be merged together as one solid unit with the monitors back-to-back, and two controller ports infront of each. Like I said above, the entire thing will have just one button, as hopefully it will selfboot the game and go strait to the link-setup.

I might leave small view-ports on this thing so a vmu can be seen on each side too.
