PC - DC Server Compatible Modem List

Post by TeamXlink »

I think a thread like this would be of good use.

Post your modem/s that you use with your PC-DC Server, if possible the model number as well.

I will update this first post to include the ones you reply with.

If your modem is Linux compatible, that would be a good thing to say as well.

I use a WIN Lucent Modem (PCI) can work in Linux apparently with Ubuntu 7.04. Also Kingbuzzo uses Zoom 3095 USB modem. Linux,Mac, and Windows Compatible. But you need a Model A modem with line voltage inducer for it to work.

Its voice compatible so it should work.

Like brourke228 said, nearly all modems with Conexant chip sets will work in Windows and Linux for this.

Well, the searches I did online for it tell me that its voice compatible, did you buy it yet? If not check the box to make sure.

Now I'm worried I might be wrong.

My modem was bought way back. It does have holes in it all over. On top there are some rectangular and circular holes. Guess the circular ones are speakers then.
Connection! Hooray!!!
