Detecting the region of dc discs

Just wanted to know is there a program on the pc (windows/linux) that would let me know the region of backed up games.

Why i ask is if i was running a pal game on a USA DC would it not run wrong like sound out of sync and stuff ?

Mmm maybe with IP.BIN Reader you could open the IP.BIN file (where available) and read the region flags of the game.

The IP.BIN is usually hacked for all regions, so it would just show every region flag. :?
Phew, I'm not really sure if there is a way to determine the disc's region. It'd probably be easier to just look at the release nfo of your backup. Of course this only works if you know which group made your release :P
