is there any other uses/advantages to owning a dreamcast broadband adapter. Obviously its nice if you want to play the few games online. And I think its what was used to rip games. But is there any other uses.

Like is it possible to play games through that are on a network. Like say you have dreamcast games backed up on your computers hard drive. Is there any tools that would allow the dreamcast to access them and play them through the network instead of the disc.

Also any other information on what can be done with the BBA thats good to know?

I'm not sure if you can play games remotely with a bba. However you can do that with a DC serial "Coders cable" which is much cheaper. The games will probably not run quite as smoothly as if they're running straight off a disc though.

Other than ripping games and playing games (Quake III Arena and PSO), it can be used for the web browser. And I believe it also works with DC linux, but don't quote me on that.
