Grandia II
I recently put this game in for the first time in a while. I remember my initial reaction to it was that the voice actin was so-so, the graphics were so-so. However, the gameplay and story really struck a chord with me. After playing it a bit this past week though I must say that I think this game gets too much love as it is one of only about 5 RPGs on the Dreamcast. A solid game, good, not great.

Re: Grandia II
IMO this is the best RPG on the Dreamcast. the gameplay is where the game shines the most. the graphics and sound are good for the time too, at least i didn't see anything to much better from the other RPGs. though the story was predictable and a little weak, it did the job just fine. i thought about reviewing this game. i still might seeing how there really isn't much here to go on in this review.

Re: Grandia II
I liked being able to see all the characters whilst roaming. It made a nice change from only invisible characters in other rpgs. Also, the fighting mechanics were spot on, very spontaneous and enjoyable. The characters were all interesting as was the story. Graphics wise, I actually liked the style a lot.
I can't think of many bad points, maybe a little too easy ? Whatever, I think it was and still is an excellent game of it's type.
