Theres a broadband adapter on ebay for sale right now, and its only at $76.51

I doubt it will stay at that price. Most of them seem to end at $100+.

out of intrest whats the difference between the Broadband adapter and the regular one the consoles come with?? is it just faster speeds??

Pretty much. The broadband adapter will allow you to use a high speed internet provider (DSL, Cable, etc...) with your DC. The original adapter is for dial-up only.

Too bad the seller didn't ship to Europe, finding an imported BBA in Germany is a real chore.
Not only does it make DC online gaming way easier, it is also the perfect development tool. As much as I love my Coder's Cable, nothing compares to being able to upload stuff at 100Mbps to the console.
