Is it worth getting a cooling fan for the DC?? I never seen one before today & never even knew they were available but are they worth the money?? I found a site that are selling it for £13.
Thought i would ask first before I potentially waste my money.

Not needed, but some parts to heat up alot so if you want to bring down a few degrees then that is a solution.
I for example made some holes on the left side of the dc, that way cool air enters the left side, keeping the components cooler

They're like... made to attach to the DC somehow? Can you post a link to the site? I'd be curious to see this...
But yeah, what the above poster said. Pretty unnecessary really.

Yeah, probably not worth it considering you can get a new Dreamcast for that price.

Don't look like it would be good aesthetically.

Or practical. Those vents on the back aren't very large.. if that's where it goes. It looks like there's a little modem extension or something?

wait, where do ppl plug it in the 1st place? I mean it can't be in the same area as the modem, because, there are no holes.

There are some little tiny vents on the back, but I'm pretty sure there's a bit of aluminum basically completely covering them so it would be little extra airflow... Even if it did plug into the back I don't get where it would draw power from unless it had its own AC adaptor? I think phone jacks might provide some power but I doubt it's much..

I would think a laptop fan would be more than enough. You could move it around under any console. If you want to mod the case bottom with some holes, the metal would still draw coolness.
