Hi, I've been trying to run my seaman game on my dreamcast but after the introduction screen (where the guy is talking) and when you press start (and the vmu starts loading) the screen go's black and the console go back to the dreamcast dashboard (menu) i have a PAL dreamcast console and am using the dc-x region convertor to run the game. I tried the game a few months back and it worked fine. I'm not sure why im having trouble now. :(

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance, David

If it already worked once, it means it has nothing to do with your region convertor. It looks like your console is not being able to read the disc for some reason (damaged disc or unadjusted gd drive).

Have you tried to boot the game without VMU? I remember when I was playing RECV that a file got corrupted in my VMU, and once reaching this file the game just froze. It's a long shot, but better than nothing.

My suggestion is that you just download a backup!
Since you own a retail version of the game then you dont break any laws by using it i think!
You dont have to care about Region Converter either!
I have tested the backup of the game and it works perfect:)

If you use the pal version then find a pal iso version of the game! Then you are sure that the savefile will function:)
