I decided to create a topic here dedicated to the discussion of Sega Sammy news and happenings from a business standpoint.

I heard they are getting rid of a lot of Panchinko machines. Which is always a good idea.

Read the last one...really strange erading being they said alot, but nothing of what I was looking for - the end of the software support. They list the end of the hardware support as January of 2001.

Good point, Dobbs. They never gave a date ending software support. I believe they even say they will continue to support Dreamcast software. I should look through their recent annual reports, maybe there will be mention of the gd-rom discontinuation and the end of Sega Direct, etc.
