Yes, Deadly Premonition, look it up, its almost just like Twin Peaks, and in many ways like Shenmue. It is a 360 game that looks like it should have came out 10 years ago on the Dreamcast. It is strange as many Japanese Dreamcast games, pretty crazy, and as it was released for only $20 on the 360 brand new, you owe yourself to pick it up. Might find it for $10 used at Gamestop.

Anyway, great article, its good to see somebody else other than me protest how influential the Dreamcast really was for this generation of gamers.

Thanks for the link. I've ordered Deadly Premonition for £9.99 off the net and will post my thoughts on it here when the time comes. Surely it can't be as bad as some of the reviews suggest ? Whatever, I'll try and give an unbiased view.

Skip to 40 seconds for Deadly Premonition. X Play loves it, and so should you.

I think they say Dreamcast 5 or 6 times while reviewing this 360 game, I loved it and rubbed it in my bros face. He wouldn't talk to me for a week after that show aired haha, I was laughing like a 5 year old school girl every time they said it.

Well I played Deadly Premonition for about three hours last night and really enjoyed it. It also creeped me out a fair bit.
Comparisons to Twin Peaks are spot on. There is indeed a Shenmue influence or two on show also. Mind you, the most obvious comparisons to Dreamcast games would be D2, Illbleed and The Ring.
Anyway, so far so good.
