I was thinking maybe there's a way to have online play. Maybe a similar way MAME emulators play online like with kaillera, 2DF/Super Arcade or GGPO.
I did remember Something about KOS working on updating the library for networking .

There was some chatter at the saturn netlink league forums about tunneling system link games and old xbqnd games online. I recall the xband ones becoming functional, but the fanbase was too quiet / unpopular to the degree that it got dropped. (I think).
I didn't keep up with the conversation regarding system link games. It only had i think two ppl talking technical stuff i didn't understand.

Actually Super Street Fighter II X (or Super Street Fighter II Turbo) was never realeased for SNES or Genesis…
So there's no chance of anything different happening here.

Well I mean Super Street Fighter II coming out for the SNES. I didnt mean SSFII X exactly but just in general think of it like an XBLA port like SFIIIS:OE
