I've only just got into compiling a game music collection and am looking for suggestions on what is the best out there. So far I've got Shenmue Orchestra, Silent Hill Collection and L.O.L. soundtracks.

Obviously I'd be interested in DC soundtracks the most but would consider the music from other systems as well. My musical tastes outside of games are mainly Indy, Punk, D&B with some Hip Hop and electronic stuff. Fairly eclectic I guess.

I do like classical stuff as well so I'm open to any suggestions and knowledge about what's available, be it modern or ancient.

Also I'd like to know where I can get hold of the stuff.

Well, when it comes to gaming and music, I'd say that Rez has one of the best soundtracks of any game I've played.

From what I can tell, the soundtrack should be available through torrents, I am still unsure whether or not it is available for purchase.

I always loved the music from SOR2 and many of the remake versions.

Rez has great music but I've never seen a soundtrack for it. So far the only one I've bought since I last posted is Sword Of The Beserk which cost me a ridiculous amount - over £60 inc p&p

I'm still looking for somewhat cheaper options !

It has to be Shenmue! It's the only game I've ever downloaded a soundtrack for. The music in that game is simply amazing! I really want to get the Limited Edition with the soundtrack CD. Other than Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio has some pretty catchy beats as well.

Like I said before, I have the Shenmue Orchestra cd which is great but I really need to get the official soundtrack if such a thing exists. I just love the Shenmue music, definitely some of the best music ever to accompany a game.

I just ordered the JSR soundtrack btw
