Dreamcast power button stuck on - is this common?

I've only played this thing 5-6 times after getting it on ebay. Now the power button is stuck on!

Needless to say it's pretty annoying unplugging and plugging it in to turn it on. Is this something that's fixable?

I've never had it happen to one of my Dreamcasts but that's not to say it isn't common. They are quite easy to take apart so I'd say have a look to see if you can see the problem yourself. If you need a top cover or power switch then check this site out for DC spares:

It's very unusual. Never read this before. You should open the case and check the button/mechanism. Maybe "clean" the spring. Something stuck in there.

I edited that link, it should work now. Btw the power switch is listed at $5.95 and should be very easy to fit if it turns out you need one.
