Wanna play Sonic Adventure.

Hi there, first time posting.

So I've been trying to download a Dreamcast emu to play Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, but it seems a bit tricky to manage all these programs, whereas I've no problem when handling Sega CD games on Kega Fusion. Few days ago, I downloaded a cheesy Sonic Adventure PC version, which music was always the same annoying track playing all the time. I would like to play Sonic Adventure in a DC emu or at least to achieve a good PC version, including all the audio tracks and it awesome intro, which was no in the game I downloaded, which I've abandoned for being a botch. I'm a great Sonic fan, so I would kindly appreciate your help.

Good eve and glad to meet you.

Sonic adventure DX came out for the pc and benefits a few improvements like the higher quality models of most playable chars.
If what you want is to play the game on a emulator, best is probably the null dc emulator.
Download the iso of the game and then just load it up in null dc.

Do you want links?

Also, welcome.

Sure, I downloaded Chankast and null from here: http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/dreamcast/, but I don't know how to install or configurate any of them, nor if I should download BIOS or where download them. Not only the links that worked for you, but also I would appreciate a guide that had helped you out in the past, since I've tried many video tutorials in YouTube that seemed to fail at trying to make them work.

Gonna try again basing in your recommendations.

let's see, the bios
http://emu-russia.net/br/dl_files/bios/ ... DCBios.rar
(the pal ones seem fine i guess)

They usually go into the emulator folder or a specific folder named bios or something.
If for example null dc complains that a required file is not there, try and read the error and check if the bios files are actually named the proper way, i know that the names usually are not the same.

Chankast requires you to burn the isos into a cd, chankast actually reads the cd and plays from there.
Saves space on your pc but can come at a cost, normally cd readers stop constantly and on the emulador that means the screen will freeze for a few seconds and then retun.
Null dc reads the images itself, after configuring controls just load the iso you downloaded, i believe the menus are pretty much explanatory

You're welcome. Hope this thread could help the others, in fact. This video helped me out. Works 100%:

Although I could turn on the emulator, I can't skip this screen.

I just couldn't skip it by pressing Enter or Esc. Moreover, my controller, which have worked perfectly for other games and emulators, seems to fail at working when using this emulator. The one I use is this one:

Rather useful, even though is cheesy and tacky, but normally works really well. Do I need to buy a 360 pad or something?

So, I almost achieved it, except for these little final difficulties. I guess I will finally enjoy Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 once I get rid of that data screen.

dude, srsly; why don't you just get a dreamcast? its not like they cost anything nowadays.
also it'll allow you to actually buy the games you really like in stead of having to play downgraded audio & fmv cut copies
