The first Dreamcast Live Online competition will be starting soon. See details below.

Details:

Date: Friday, January 13th @ 5:00PM EST (Add Event to Google Calendar)
Server: Dreamcast-Talk FFA

The competition will consist of five rounds and we will be playing Last Man Standing. The player in last place on each round will be eliminated until we have our winner. The top three players will earn Dreamcast Live achievements worth 10, 20, and 30 points each.

We will meet in the forum chat before (about 15mins before) and during the competition to coordinate everything.

Hey buddy, sounds like a plan, not sure what my availability will be like as I'm in the UK, it would probably have to be a weekend or something but I'm very keen to have a go so let me know what the plan is!

Hopefully we can come up with a time that will work for everyone. It will likely be on a Saturday.

Alright, the competition will most likely be sometime next month. I'm thinking on a Saturday but that could change. I need all the possible participants to post what times would be best for them and hopefully we can find a time that works for everyone.

saturday the 31st December would be ok for me in the morning GMT, up to about 12pm, if not that day then would have to be the 13th

Damn it all, if only i had a phoneline (or a PC modem to do the PC DC dialup server, or the proper hardware shown on the guide) I would join in. Its been a while since i have played Q3A on my DC online, boy do i miss those days.

I gave up on the PC-DC server thing after trying a ton of times with a ton of different configurations. So glad I found that dirt cheap BBA! Keep an eye out for one. Maybe you'll find a deal like I did.

I most likely couldn't do the 31st but we'll see. The 13th might be ok. Anyone else free for the 13th? You might want to stay in on that day anyway since it's Friday the 13th...

That sounds great but it doesn't really help us pick a date and time.
