Here are some random questions about games, anyone know the answers?
-Can JPN Last Blade 2 boot into VGA? Can the USA version be tricked by DCX or other method?
-^same question as above but for Airforce Delta
-I've never played Sega GT. How advanced is the create a car mode? Do you just mix and match parts like a Mr Potatohead, or do you have some greater degree of control over the body shape of the car?
-I don't own the game, does Mars Matrix give you unlimited continues like Gigawing?
-Are there any differences (graphics, features, music) between the one game known in different regions as: Snow Surfers, Rippin Riders, and Cool Boarders Burn?
-How long does it take to beat Headhunter? (Is it a long game, or a short game? )
-How does Aerowings 2 stack up to Airforce Delta in terms of graphics and gameplay? I own Airforce Delta but have only seen screenshots of Aerowings 2.
-Obviously the online mode is defunct, so how is the offline mode of Pod 2 (AKA Pod Speedzone)? Are all tracks and cars there for you when you start? Is there any incentive to play the single player mode (IE: unlock things) or is it really just for offline practice and 2 player multiplayer?
That's it for now. Sometimes I think of some info I want to know about a particular game, if I think of more I'll post in this thread. Anyone else who has basic questions about games can feel free to post in this thread too.

- Nope. Have tried multiple methods without any success. LB2, KOF Dream Match and KOF EVO will not work with VGA. All other SNK DC offerings do work.
- Again Nope.
- Have Sega GT but never tinkered with the car customization. I personally think the game is mediocre at best especially considering what DC has to offer in the genre.
- I believe not. Additional credits CAN be purchased in the games elaborate Shop with game currency that is accumulated from playing. Other items in the shop include high level play videos for each stage, ship customiztion in both cosmetic and mechanical aspects.
- Good question! no idea LOL!
- Dont't know LOL!
- Aerowings 2 looks just as good if not better than AFD (and supports VGA 480p to boot) gameplay wise, AFD seems more simple to pick up and play and seems more action oriented.
- No Idea lol!
Definatetly do. I know i will eventually

Here's another random one:
-In the PAL copy of Sega GT, are the dreamcast spirals on the dreamcast banners in the night track blue like the PAL DC logo? Or are they unchanged from the JPN/USA graphics?

as far as Sega GT you earn new body shapes. i don't think that you get to mess with molding a new shape or anything like that. you pick engine placement and you get to choose larger engines and such. i haven't played the game in for ever, but it is more like Mr potato head i suppose.
Air force delta is more of an arcade game and Aerowings 1&2 are more of a sim. the plans are rendered better in Aerowings imo, but some of the landscapes may be better in AFD. all in all Aerowings is more visually pleasing to me. i think that you can trick AFD to work on VGA if it doesn't support it natively.

it looks like i sold my copy, so i cant test it. i used codebreaker to force my non VGA games into VGA mode. it is possible that AFD is one of the few that cant be tricked. i seem to remember playing it on my PC monitor though.

Headhunter is a good 15-20 hours, its one of the rare few awesome, exciting and REALLY playable single player campaign 3rd person games, one of my favourites. If you do everything in it it will take you 20+. I'd say it ranks up there with Shenmue and Shenmue 2 as far as 3rd person story driven adventures go. The closest thing to an official Metal Gear only imho Headhunter is far better, it doesn't have the retarded radar enemy vision thing where you can see a cone which shows your enemies field of vision and if your an inch outside it you can slip by unnoticed... and that annoying "you've been spotted noise" does my nut in too lol
Regarding POD2 theres no real reason to play the offline mode, most of the cars are open to you but I think you can unlock stuff, however its such a below par game that... why would you bother? IMO of course

Pod on dreamcast is a sad followup of the original. The online play was not so great while it lasted, and offline the tracks are the same, but the ai is simple to figure out.
There is a reason the game can cost just $1.
Mars matrix is excelent but I havnt played it in a while. Iirc it has a point/purchase system, where you can expand your allotment if credits based on how often you play & what you unlock.

I'm not sure now if its POD or POD 2 that I have, did POD 1 come out in the EU?? Or was it POD 2 and just renamed to POD as is often the case?

Pod 1 came out only for PC in the mid 1990s. Pod 2 and "Pod: Speedzone" are the same game, and as far as I know, it is a dreamcast exclusive. According to my info, Pod 2 is the PAL/euro title of Pod: Speedzone (even though they are each the sequel to Pod 1)
I was just kind of interested in it because I've never known anyone who had it, the reviews don't say much about it, and there aren't many good quality videos on youtube for it. That and I like futuristic racing games
