Brand new DC for 76 pounds!
When I get it, will I be able to move my FOnewearl (Felix)?
I got the serials for both V1 and V2....

Interesting question. I barely remember but... maybe the savegame won't load on your new DC, because of the different serialnumber (konsole). There was some kind of protection, afaik.

...oh, and congrats!

Unfortunately you will not be able to transfer your character. It's locked to your console. It won't load on any other console.

You could simply swith the motherboards. If they are the same model, which is highly likely...

I do not think that my FOnewearl would agree to me changing a motherband:)
Nor do I think Pheonix and FaithY would let me do it:D...
(i mean, who would give them Resta and Shifta then  )

I think I will just have to stick with my old DC and put the new one in the shelf!

Thanks for the answer(s) anyway:D... Allways good mood and tips here on the forum

They can load on your new console.
Just insert PSO and your VMU and input a SNAK that is valid for the Game disk and valid for your save.

If your save used a specific PAL SNAK then you must input that same PAL snak on the new dc, using a different snak will make the game disk usable, but the save will lock.

If when playing PSO it doesn't ask a snak and just locks your char, then you must clear the memory (flash the memory) and restart so you can input the snak.

SNAK in this case is just like a password to an account, it must match.

Nice! Congratulations on getting such a great deal on a NEW Dc! Like KIREEK said, there is a way to successfully transfer your characters to your new console. But be very careful to do everything right as i'm sure you don't want to corrupt your save file.

In fact, this is exactly what I am doing. I am waiting until my dc is completely dead before i unbox my new dc. Its just sitting up on my shelf. In waiting. 8-)

When you insert PSO for the first time, the Dreamcast asks you to input your serials before you even get to the title screen. When you do, it saves them to the flash memory. Do this for PSO and then for PSOv2, and use the same serials you did on your old Dreamcast. Once you do that, all your characters will work on both systems. If the Dreamcast doesn't ask you to input your serials before you get to the title screen, it isn't actually new and has PSO serials already saved to the flash memory. In that case, you need to erase the flash memory first.

Thanks for all the answers, guys!:)

I guess there is light on the other side of the tunnel then!
I have a backup VMU wich is a replica of the file I have! If the VMU gets corrupted then i have another one:)...
Have a nice one, everybody:)
