Couple SMS questions

First one is will US SMS games play on a pal SMS model 2? From what I've been able to find out my SMS has the correct chip to do the video mod so I plan on doing it for only the rgb and rca audio connectors even though i could do svideo and rca video as well. Along with that I have not found any info related to rgb being region specific and should work on any tv with rgb connectors, does anyone have any info to the contrary? Finally I've seen a few pages where someone has done the mod and gave the pinout info but does anyone know where I can find a good detailed version of the mod because the ones I've seen were kind of vague in a part or two and I don't like doing things like this without fully understanding it.
