Yes..... kinda, Im pretty sure if you buy the broadband adapter and one of these things its a lan plug but it its like a wireless receiver and it just converts it to the lan plug.
If anyone know what i'm talking about plz try and explain better
now that im thinking about it maybe you cant...

Re: Is there any way I can connect using a wireless connection?
Are you using an entirely wireless network? Or are you using a net extender?
I use a net extender.
Basically a net extender is a device that connects to a router or modem through an ethernet cable. The Extender then sends the info to its twin wirelessly. The twin is plugged into my dreamcast via ethernet cable.
Its basically a wired connection that has a huge wireless gap. This works.
If you have a completely wireless network (where you want your dreamcast to just pick up a signal.) I don't think you can do that. Dreamcast is a little low tech for that, but let me see if I can find something.

Tsukasa is correct. But maybe if you can establish
what he/she uses, you should be set to getonline
with your DC.

Re: Is there any way I can connect using a wireless connection?
What tsukasa is talking about can be referred to as many things such as, wireless bridge, range extender or even access point. I don't see why it would not work as long as you get a plug and play model that requires no drivers and or setup. But, I can't verify this for sure. I can point you in the direction of some models to check out. This is one I considered using myself at one point: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=1594
You would probably not be bale to use a WEP key for encryption on your wireless network becuase the DC has no way of entering the key. Unless you could pre-configure the bridge using your PC. I'm not completey sure how this one would work.
Keep in mind you will still need to Buy a Broadband adpater to connect your Dreamcast with your broadband internet. Refer to my other post: http://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtop ... p=518#p518

Re: Is there any way I can connect using a wireless connecti
Why don't you just connect the DC's broadband adaptor through an ethernet cable into your laptop (if you have one) that is already connected to the Internet. I guess this will work too.
Connection! Hooray!!!

I dont know if you have to use a cross over cable or not.
buy a linksys wrtg router and flash it with dd-wrt, then setup a client bridge.
or do whatever you want, there are plenty of ppl here who can help you get your dreamcast online.
Usually you use a cross over cable when you connect another device to your computer to via ics to access the internet.
