Oh no! I did everything by the guide to set my DC up online and it just alternates a few of:
"
ATI0
932
OK
"
with a few of:
"
ERROR
AT&FQ.edu/.edu/
"
What do I need to do to fix this?
I'm running off of the 56k modem and trying to use the planetweb browser...
Please help...

your modem should be set to AT&F by default. first thing, we need to know a bit more about your connection. what did you set the DNS numbers to? if they are all 0s that is fine for now. the web browser should work with them set to 0s but you should try using DNS #1 (68.94.156.1) DNS #2 (68.94.157.1)
also what planet web version are you using? i just set one of mine up using 2.0. 2.0 and 3.0 are pretty much the same for changing the modem. im not sure about 1.0 though.
anyway to change the modem settings you hit (START)>(OPTIONS)>(Internet Connection)>(Dial Options) to get to Dial Options you can either click the tab at the top of the screen or you can hit ok at the bottom of the screen. once your in Dial Options look in the middle of the screen for (Modem Init) if this is set to (AT&F) you can change it to (AT&F0), note the last character is a "zero"

is it ATS28=56 or AT28=56? i have the one for my PC-DC server set to AT28=56 and it works fine. it use to be set to AT&F0 and that worked fine as well. the sega sports DC is using true dial up and i have it set to AT&F0.

I don't have that option... I'm guessing that I have PWv1... It doesn't say that it is v2 or v3 so...

i thought about XDP, but can you edit the modem options with it? i never tried so i recommended the one i knew would work.
