Planet Ring patcher download problem!

Does anybody know if the Planet Ring patcher download site is gonna be up again?

I get a 404 error every time I visit, and I can't find the patcher anywhere else but there.

If you have a program like BootDreams to make a bootable image from the plain files, you can use I've attached the plain files (i.e, the 1ST_READ.BIN) file to this message to build a disc or an image to burn.

It works like a Dream...cast!

It is negotiating with my Windows 98, PPP server, the game says that. But every time I try it says there's no response from the login server, And that it may be down for maintenance or just busy. Is there something else I might've done wrong or not done at all.

I have already tested the internet connection. That works fine. All I've done for Planet Ring is to insert the newly burned patcher disc and let that do is work before inserting the game.

I'm not sure of anything related to the server. If it isn't down, there is the possibility there is a bug in the patcher, as I haven't actually tested the new version with Planet Ring... Actually, I never tested the old version either, as I don't have the patience to get dialup to work (and actually didn't have the game before the old version of the patcher was done).

If there is a problem with the new version of the patcher, I could build a binary for the old one...

Well, I'd rather find out if there is a problem with the patcher or the servers first... As the patching code itself didn't actually change in the new version of the patcher, I don't think it should be the patcher itself.

Plus, I wouldn't want to have you waste a CD-R if it is actually a server problem.

I've sent a message to Neoblast to see if there's something up with the server or if it is something with the new patcher version. I'll keep you posted (if he doesn't do so himself).

I also think it's the server. Thinking back, just before I got the patcher from you, there was this guy with a Jeremy Clarkson avatar, giving the Codebreaker PSO patcher tutorial as well, saying to somebody under the topic "Planet Ring all tables full" that it might be a problem on the Planet Ring server itself. I see more people having trouble with this than I as well. This is all pointing towards the Planet Ring server being out of touch.
