Seller said it had issues, i bought it a new video cable and it works perfectly, big smile on my face.

Well, usually problems don't fix themselves, so if the seller said it had issues, it must have had issues at some point? Did he tell you what those issues were? Maybe the issues were with him, and not within the console
Only time will tell I guess.

He said it had video issues, no display, i reckon he had a dodgy video cable
because its been sat turned on last few hours and its done nothing.
