I have heard that once you beat the game with all 6 characters you can play freely as super sonic. is this true? ive seen some videos on youtube but i couldn't tell if it was hacked or not.

As far as i know in the supersonic story you can enter levels instead of following the story waypoints, but you play as normal sonic... Once you get to Perfect Chaos and transform into Super, you cant go back to play levels... or maybe theres is a way to do it???

from what I saw on youtube, once you beat the game when u go back in to levels as sonic u can transform in to super sonic once u have 50 rings. u jump and press the action button and u will be super sonic the rest of the level, i don't believe you can do it in the adventure stages

I only know what segata sanshiro said, that in the final boss fight against Perfect Chaos you play as Super Sonic, not that you could play as him in the regular levels after finishing the story.

Super Sonic has never been legitimately playable outside of the Perfect Chaos battle in any release of Sonic Adventure.

Yeah, hack. And if you didn't know, the Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut is the title of the game versions released for PC and GameCube with minor tweaks.

So, it's a hack for the PC version.
